Right in the center of Surprise you will find the Surprise Recreation Campus featuring a 10,562-seat stadium, a 23,000 square foot regional library that looks out over a five-acre lake, 13,500 square foot recreation center, a 10,562 foot state-of-the-art aquatic center, and 37-acre park with large fishing lake. There is a 132-acres training facility known as the Cactus League Spring Training facility that is home of the Kansas Royals and Texas Rangers. Residents get to use it for youth sports programs and special events.
For those of Surprise that are mentally and physically challenged there is Dream Catcher Park, a premiere sports complex. It's the main philanthropic project of over 500 members from the Surprise Sundancers that help keep our events and city running smoothly.
